Julia Child’s 100th Celebration

I’ve been an okay person. I’ve learned a lot. I’ve taught people a thing or two.
That’s what’s important.” – Julia Child.

This is a wonderful example of mixing the media. The Public Broadcasting Service’s website invites us to take some fun look-backs at Julia’s food-filled life.

With their site, they make it possible for us to watch episodes of her cooking shows, examine some of her famed recipes and read why living greats in the food world still salute her.

Join the celebration here. http://www.pbs.org/food/julia-child-100-birthday/.

About Marty Martindale

Foodsite Magazine and Marty aim to help the cooking-challenged avoid dependence on others due to lack of cooking knowhow. We concentrate on quick breakfasts, portable lunches and “good-4-u” night meals. With readily available web translation, the magazine explains separate foods, a little of their history, their nutrition, suggested “go-withs,” serving ideas and links to foodsites with recipes.
