Also handy and easy:

  • Separate leaves, wash, discard fat, tough ends.
  • Slice across stem ends in ¼-inch slices — green tops in 1-inch slides
  • Place in microwaveable bowl
  • Add splash of water
  • Add splash of soy sauce
  • Add small splash sesame oil
  • Add dash of hot sauce (optional)
  • Add left-over, cooked,  rice, farro or pasta (optional)
  • Stir
  • Cover and microwave on high for one minute.
